TERMS & CONDITIONS (TERMS OF SERVICE)

By submitting a commission inquiry, placing an order, or using any of our services at FursuitCommissions.com, you agree to the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

Eligibility

  • All clients must be 18 years of age or older
  • Minors require verifiable parent or guardian approval and involvement throughout the entire process
  • We reserve the right to request age verification at any time

Commission Process

  • A clear, original reference sheet is required before work begins
  • We do not accept commissions for copyrighted characters or direct copies of existing suits without proper licensing
  • We reserve the right to decline any commission inquiry for any reason, without obligation to explain
  • All quotes provided are estimates; final pricing may adjust slightly based on confirmed design details
  • Work begins only after payment is received and design is approved by the client

Payments

  • Orders under $500: Full payment required upfront before work begins
  • Orders over $500: A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to begin work; remaining balance is due before shipping
  • Payment plans may be available on select orders and may include a small processing fee — ask at time of quote
  • Accepted payment methods: PayPal, Stripe, and other approved processors
  • Full payment must be cleared before any order is shipped, without exception

Refunds and Cancellations

  • No refunds once work has begun (materials have been purchased or cutting/construction has started)
  • Deposits are strictly non-refundable under all circumstances
  • If a client cancels mid-production, any partial work completed becomes the property of FursuitCommissions.com and may be sold as a premade item
  • Shipping costs, import duties, and customs fees are the sole responsibility of the buyer and are non-refundable

Shipping

  • We ship worldwide
  • Shipping costs and insurance are calculated at checkout or included in your final quote
  • We are not responsible for delays caused by customs, carrier issues, or circumstances beyond our control
  • Import duties, taxes, and customs clearance fees are entirely the buyer’s responsibility
  • Once an order is handed to the shipping carrier, we are not liable for loss or damage — we strongly recommend purchasing shipping insurance

Warranty and Repairs

  • All commissions come with a 6-month limited warranty from the date of delivery
  • Warranty covers manufacturing defects such as seam failures or structural foam issues
  • Warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, improper care, washing damage, or misuse
  • Repair shipping costs in both directions are the buyer’s responsibility
  • Fursuits and costumes are worn at the wearer’s own risk — we are not liable for any injury, overheating, limited visibility, or accidents during use

 

Intellectual Property

  • Your character design and fursona remain entirely your intellectual property
  • We retain the right to photograph and share images of completed commissions for portfolio, gallery, and marketing purposes — always with credit to the client or their fursona name
  • Clients may opt out of portfolio/social media usage at any time by notifying us in writing
  • Clients may share photos of their commission freely but are encouraged to credit FursuitCommissions.com as the maker
  • Our construction patterns, techniques, and proprietary designs may not be replicated, sold, or distributed

Adult / NSFW Commissions

  • NSFW commissions are only accepted from verified clients aged 18 or older
  • Age verification may be requested before accepting any NSFW inquiry
  • Additional specific terms will be provided at the time of NSFW commission inquiry

Allergy Notice

Our workspace may contain pet fur, dander, adhesives, foam dust, and other craft materials. If you have known allergies or sensitivities, please inform us before placing your order.

Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failure to deliver caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, illness, supply chain disruptions, shipping carrier failures, or other unforeseen events. In such cases, we will communicate with you promptly and work toward a fair resolution.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of our website or services after updates are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services will first be addressed through good-faith negotiation between both parties. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be subject to binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA).
